On Tuesday, January 12, a powerful earthquake battered the Caribbean nation of Haiti, devastating the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Tens of thousands are feared dead from the immediate impact, with thousands more injured and an estimated 3 million Haitians may face hardship in the aftermath.

The Jewish Federations of North America is partnering with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) to provide aid and relief to victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday. The Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans and the Jewish Endowment Foundation of Louisiana have already partnered to donate $2,500 (out of JEF's General Fund) for Haiti Relief.
