Jewish Flavors of Italy

Are you looking for a cross-cultural experience for the whole family?

Join the Center for Interfaith Families & Shir Chadash for a delightful Jewish-Italian cooking class hosted by Temple Sinai.

We’ll be exploring the cultural, historical, and interfaith connections between the Italian and Jewish culinary worlds.

Blue Cypress Books will be onsite and Silvia Nacamulli’s cookbook, Jewish Flavours of Italy: A Family Cookbook, will be available — each interfaith family will receive a copy for FREE.

Filled with kosher recipes and dishes such as Carciofi alla Giudia (Jewish-style fried artichokes), challah bread, and sarde in saor (Venetian sweet and sour sardines), you’ll definitely want to take home your own copy.
