Torah Academy, open to Jewish children of all backgrounds, is a Jewish Early Childhood Center and Day School located at 5210 West Esplanade in Metairie. They have a program for children as young at 6 weeks old through 8th grade. The curriculum includes general and Judaic studies taught by state-approved teachers. The goal of Torah Academy is to develop the whole child by providing a quality education that will promote Jewish values and observances, academic achievement, love of learning, life skills and the ability to pursue the profession of one’s choice. Individual attention and participation are the keystones of its program. Parents, teachers, and students work together as a team in an atmosphere of respect, joy, wonder, and cooperation.
