Empowering Jewish Resilience in Greece

Financial troubles in Greece are wreaking havoc in the lives of millions. For the country’s Jews, a surge in anti-Semitism is making the crisis twice as bad.

But Minos Moissis sees only a challenge. “Our community here in Athens is badly affected [but] resilience is key. We have to adapt,” he says. And he’s glad to have JDC by his side.

By training emerging Greek Jewish leaders, networking with potential donors and supporting youth and schools, JDC is helping this strong, historic community face new circumstances with renewed strength.
