GLOBAL IMPACT
Partnership between New Orleans and Rosh Ha’ayin
The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) Partnership2Gether platform (P2G) has become the paradigm for successfully partnering global Jewish communities directly with Israeli communities.
An extraordinary global platform connecting some 550 communities around the world in 45 partnerships, P2G is building living bridges among these communities sharing ideas, strengths, challenges, and models of success. The partnership empowers both communities to generate waves of change.
More than 300,000 participants from Israel and the overseas communities take part in some 500 programs each year.
A local endeavor with national impact, each P2G partnership provides the opportunity for communities to connect and build flourishing interpersonal relationships. Locally, the New Orleans community is partnered with Rosh Hayin in Israel, and Birmingham, AL.
One of the most exciting aspects of P2G is the mutual and lasting friendships.

A trip to Israel is one of the most important formative experiences in your teenager’s Jewish development. The Edie and Paul Rosenblum Gift of Israel Program helps parents send high school students on immersive summer trips to Israel by making participation more affordable.
On any of these excellent trips, your teen will have the opportunity to forge a very personal bond with Jewish history and ancestry, meet new people and make lasting friendships and absorb the incomparable feeling of Jewish community. An immersive, group trip to Israel creates a more lasting impact at a formative age. Thanks to non-need based funding from the Edie and Paul Rosenblum Gift of Israel Program, along with a generous, anonymous donor, your teen’s transformative trip to Israel is far more affordable.
Start building Jewish identity now to guarantee our Jewish future. Contact us at israeloutreach@jewishnola.com, to learn more about eligibility and the scholarship funds available for teen Israel programs.
