In the wake of the George Floyd homicide and resulting protests, it has become more apparent than ever that the Jewish community must step up and play a role in addressing the systemic challenges faced by the Black community. Please join the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans: Goldring Family Foundation Center for Jewish-Multicultural Affairs, ADL South Central, and the National Council of Jewish Women: Greater New Orleans Section on Monday, June 29 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for a virtual listening session in which several Black leaders from different fields will address our New Orleans Jewish community on specific actions that we can take to help implement the transformational change that has long been needed.

PARTICIPATING SPEAKERS INCLUDE:
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell | Dr. Corey Hebert (Children's Hospital, WDSU) | Norris Henderson (Voice of the Experienced) | Quentin Messer (New Orleans Business Alliance) | Former State Senator JP Morrell | Judy Reese Morse (Urban League of Louisiana) | Alanah Odoms (ACLU of Louisiana) | Dr. Reynold Verret (Xavier University of Louisiana) | Bishop Tom Watson (Watson Ministries) | New Orleans City Council President Jason Williams
