The Solomon Mental Health Fund aims to ensure that members of the Jewish community who need mental health services can receive them, regardless of financial situation. If you are JNOLA-aged (21-39 years old) or JNEXT-aged (40-59) and want to make your mental health a priority, we want to support you!
How does it work? Thanks to our partnership with Jewish Family Service, community members can request the help they need directly. Just follow these easy steps:
Once you give your intake counselor at Jewish Family Service our name, they will invoice the Solomon Mental Health Fund directly while keeping your identity anonymous. If you have insurance, they will invoice the Fund for the cost of your copay. All of your information will remain private at Jewish Family Service.
Jewish Family Service is a long-running social service agency and constituent agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans. To contact Jewish Family Service, call (504) 831-8475 or visit https://jfsneworleans.org/. In general, Jewish Family Service accepts Medicaid and most private insurances. They also offer an affordable sliding scale based on household income.
