There's a New Rabbi in Town

We're excited to welcome Rabbi Matthew Reimer to New Orleans as the new Senior Rabbi at Temple Sinai! Rabbi Reimer is a graduate of Vassar College and New York’s Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. Most recently he has served as the solo rabbi at the Shul of New York. Over the years, he has served in many rabbinic roles, including a distinguished tenure at Congregation B’Nai Jeshurun of New Jersey. Temple Sinai welcomes Rabbi Reimer and his family as he becomes the eighth senior rabbi in the 146 year history of Temple Sinai, the state’s largest Jewish Congregation and oldest Reform Temple in the New Orleans area. Rabbi Reimer will take the role of spiritual leader of the Congregation and will guide in all practices of worship, community affairs, education, and communal life. We got the inside scoop as to how Rabbi Reimer likes New Orleans since the big move:
